How did you learn about The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław?

I performed an Eramus program in the ASP in Katowice were I started learning printmaking and I had the opportunity of visiting a friend that was performing the same program in The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.

Why did you decide to study in Poland?

I loved the culture and people and the high standards of art education specially regarding to printmaking in the university and the spectacular facilities that their Academies has.

Which program in our Academy did you choose?

Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking.

What were your plans and expectations related to studying in the Academy?

Learn all traditional printmaking processes through new contemporary art media and interdisciplinary practice.

What kind of possibilities have studies in the Academy given you?

Thanks to studying in The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design I could participate in the Eramus Plus internship program and I performed a training practice in Dreipunkt-Edition studio and gallery in Munich. Thanks of this work experience I had the opportunity of getting my first job in the printmaking field and currently I am working as a Studio Technician and Manager at Belfast Print Workshop in Northern Ireland.

I can just thank the Academy and all department professors for sharing all their astonishing knowledge with me. It has allowed me to learn so much from them and achieve my goals getting one of my most lovde job dreams.

Would you decide to continue your studying in the Academy?

I will consider the future realization of a PHD program.

What would you tell to all those who hesitate to study in Poland?

Do not doubt of choosing this destiny. No matter what their studies are, the education knowledge and experience that they will achieve will be more than worth it. It’s a beautiful country with brilliant and enviable education, marvelous culture with charming and welcoming people. I’m looking forward to go back!
